<p> 《无主之地》主要故事设定在一个不知名的行星，行星上没有任何秩序与法律，游戏四名主要角色必须在行星上试着存活，他们将在行星上遭遇各种怪异的外星生物，但也会找到各个存在的神秘民族，找到稀有的文明;在行星上不同民族将可能会彼此对立，因此玩家选择帮助或攻击这民族，将会对未来造成影响;玩家可以在游戏中找到各种新道具、资源，并与不同民族的NPC接佣兵任务来赚钱，以便取得更强的武器与载具，当实力逐步强化后，更可深入危险地区面对更大型怪物的刺激挑战。</p>
